Here are the ten brand new official movie stills released for the film "The Avengers."

"The Avengers" is directed and written by Joss Whedon with Zak Penn. It stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Gwyneth Paltrow, Stellan Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, and Paul Bettany.

"The Avengers" is set to be released on May 4th, 2012.
