An up-coming "3D action epic" based on John Milton's poem "Paradise Lost" is set to star American actor Casey Affleck ("The Assassination of Jesse James.")Affleck will be playing Gabriel, "an angel with six wings who joins forces with Michael" played by Benjamin Walker in the battle with Lucifer (who will be portrayed by Bradley Cooper ) "after Lucifer launches a full scale assault on God."
Camille Belle ("10,000 BC") also stars in the film as Eve. "The Crow" director Alex Proyas is directing the film which is said to shoot in Sydney, Australia in January 2012. The film is expected to be released late in 2013.
