Irish-born actor Ray Stevenson who recently starred in Kenneth Branagh's Thor has landed a new role.He is reported to star in the G.I. Joe sequel as the villanous Firefly, ' a ninja master/explosives expert and member of the Cobra Organization.' Stevenson, 47, will be joining Channing Tatum who will be returning to reprise his character, Duke. Newcomer Dwayne Johnson and Adrianne Palicki will also be part of the up-coming film.
G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes is scheduled to be released in August 2012.
