"True Blood" creator Alan Ball is reported to be working on a new project for HBO.Ball is set to be the executive produced for a developing project titled "Wichita." It is an hour long drama Ball is working on with author Devin Friedman who wrote the 2010 GQ article "Savior vs. Savior." Ball is producing the drama alongside Jimmy Miller.
"Wichita" is "about a Kansas surgeon who inadvertently becomes the focal point of a contemporary political, cultural and ethical war."
The project will be Ball's third with HBO.
