Ex-Weezer bassist, Mikey Welsh was found dead in his Chicago hotel room on Sunday morning. The hotel staff at the Rafaello Hotel in Chicago found the artists after he failed to check out of his hotel room. He was 40.
The strange and eery part of this story is that Welsh had semi-predicted his own death weeks early on twitter. He had posted "dreamt i died in chicago next weekend (heart attack in my sleep). need to write my will today." His band mates from Weezer posted on Welsh's Twitter page stating, "We are deeply saddened to announce that Mikey Welsh passed away unexpectedly today. He will forever be remembered as an amazing father, artists, and friend. May he rest in peace."
This marks another sad day in the music world as we lose another great musician.
