Stardust's Claire Danes and Hotel Rwanda's Don Cheadle are Showtime's newest stars.
Danes was reported to star in "Homeland," a series described as "as a psychological thriller about a CIA officer trying to unravel a suspected terrorist plot." It will also star Damian Lewis from Band of Brothers and Mandy Patinkin, an American stage and screen actor and also a tenor vocalist.
Cheadle's new series is "House of Lies," a comedy "set in the world of management consultants." Cheadle is to portray a schemer "who does anything to win." Veronica Mars' Kristin Bell will also be part of this new series as Cheadle's Ivy League grad co-worker.
Showtime was reported to have said that 12 episodes for each series has been ordered and that production starts in summer. No air dates for either series has been announced at this moment.
