It has been recently reported that the notorious ghost face from
the 90's flick "Scream" will be making its way into the small screen.
MTV is developing a weekly series that is based on the film franchise starring
Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox. Created by Wes Craven and written
by Kevin Williamson ("Dawson's Creek") "Scream" was released in 1996
and gained a cult following and the film including its 3 sequels earned $500 million worldwide.
Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley, former MTV executives are said to be
on the hunt for the writer to pen the series' pilot. It is unclear whether
Williamson and/or Craven will have any participation in making of the series.
