The new season of Jane By Design starts tonight on ABC Family at 9 pm EST. Lots of drama, love connections, and probably a bit of fighting will ensue. We recently had the pleasure of sitting down with David Clayton Rogers, who plays Ben, the lovable older brother and guardian of Jane. See what he had to say about the new season, who will fall in love with who, and whether Jane will get busted this time around for leading her double life.

Jane By Design is set to return to the airwaves on June 5th on ABC Family. What should the fans be on the look out for in the new episodes?

More of the same madcap comedy and high stakes teen-girl-living-a-double-life hijinks. Also, some new and more complicated romances for a number of the characters. And some good clothes, I guess. I'm not really part of the fashion story, but I can appreciate that Jane rocks some cool threads.

Your character plays Jane?s older brother and guardian, Ben. You recently found out about her job and her pretending to be an adult. Is her secret going to come out this time around?

Out to some, still secret to others. Now that I'm in on the secret I have to help her cover, which puts me in some uncomfortable (and funny) situations. She's still living the double life. I'm pretty sure they'd fire her in a heartbeat if they found out she was a teenager.

Will we see Ben stick to more of the parental role with strict guidelines for Jane, or will he take the brother approach again?

I think Ben's approach is a combo of the two. He's Jane's brother and friend, but sometimes he has to lay down the law. Which is incredibly awkward for someone who considers himself a big kid.

What do you think it is about Jane By Design that draws the viewers in?

I think it's a fun, fun show. The stories bounce around but always land by the episode's end in a heartfelt place. The dialogue is snappy, the look of the show is rich and colorful, and the characters are interesting. Also splitting time between high school and the corporate fashion world insures that things stay engaging.

At the finale of the last season, we saw Jane was obviously about to be torn between two guys. Any hints as to what we might see come from that in this next season?

She of course needs to resolve what's going on with those two guys, and some new romance just might get thrown into the mix too.

What can we expect from Ben?s love life? It seemed to be getting a bit more interesting there at the end. Are we going to see that develop in these upcoming episodes?

Ben's love life definitely gets some attention. His relationship with Rita has some strong ups and downs, and an old psuedo-flame comes back into the picture to make things infinitely more complicated. For a guy who doesn't do complicated very well.

Any other projects we should be on the lookout for in the future?

A web series from Bryan Singer and Warner Bros called H+ will be coming out this year. It's a Lost-esque rollercoaster, with a great ensemble cast, and stories that pitch forward and backward in time around a catastrophic moment for the human race... that my character caused. Also, this fall I'll be filming a comedy horror movie called Deadtectives about some paranormal "investigators" who encounter the real thing in a haunted Georgia farm house.

Make sure to tune in TONIGHT at 9 pm EST on ABC Family!
