Chucky is back!

Yes he is back!

Universal Home Entertainment is currently casting for the new film in the Chucky franchise which will be titled "Curse of Chucky."

Don Mancini, the franchise creator will be writing, directing, and producing the film. Another good news is that Brad Dourif who voiced out the original Chucky will be coming back as well to give life to the murderous doll.

According to the reports, the film will include the characters Nica, Ian, Barb, Jill, Sarah, and a Father Frank.

In the new film,  "a family gathers for a funeral, only to be met with an insane bloodbath caused by the infamous Chucky."

"Nica is a young wheelchair-bound girl who receives the doll; Ian is the father and Nica’s brother-in-law suspicious his wife is cheating on him; Barb is a mean-spiritied and greedy woman, Nica’s older sister; Jill is the lead and is a nanny having a secret affair with Barb; Sarah is Nica’s mother whom commits suicide." 

Chucky was introduced back in 1988 in the film "Child’s Play." Sequels such as "Child’s Play 2," "Child’s Play 3,"  "Bride of Chucky," and "Seed of Chucky" followed.
