A director has yet to be set into place for the much anticipated on-screen adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey, but the fans are already throwing names out for who they think should play their beloved Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
Some of the obvious names in the business are Ian Somerhalder, Kristen Stewart, Nina Dobrev, and Alexander Skarsgard. Big names in other mega-franchises that have graced the big and small screen. Even though the big names in the business now are catching on, a virtually unknown or rising star might be a better choice to kick start this series.
One name floating around the internet is Scott Elrod. Although not as well known as Somerhalder, Stewart, Dobrev, or Skarsgard, Elrod definitely has the look down. Indescribably handsome, dark, and mysterious as well as insanely talented. He could easily and comfortably slip into the role as Christian Grey alongside a Hollywood starlet playing Anastasia.
