What kinds of things do you like to do in your free time?
I am all over the place, really. Hugging on my dogs takes a lot of my free time, but I ride motorcycles and raft too. I doodle/draw obsessively and I read a lot. The Internet sucks me in and I spend any additional time in my head drooling over fictional characters.
What is your favorite thing about working with Artists On Demand?
I’d have to say talking to the guests and my fellow Artists on Demand hosts. I do love entertainment, so it’s a bonus that it’s our focus, but mostly I like to talk to people who are different than I am.
What weekly segments do you host?
I co-host Music and Movies Mondays and TV Tuesdays with the awesome Lisa! We are cool together because we like some of the same things, but we also like very different things. It gives a good push-pull relationship and we have a ton to talk about.
Do you have a favorite interview so far in your time at Artists On Demand?
I don’t know if I have one favorite interview. Clara Bellino was my first interview and she couldn’t have been a more perfect choice! She is awesome and we are Twitter buddies. Multiple times the guest and I have stayed on talking after the interview was over. It’s funny but the person who I am actually a big fan of turned out not to be one of my best interviews, because I went into the whole fan girl thing. I have a rule that if I don’t know what the guest looks like that I won’t look until the show is over, because I have gotten a little too giggly talking to some of the hotties we interview.
How would you describe yourself in five words?
I could almost plug the seven dwarves in and it would work, but…..Happy, Caring, Silly, Naughty, and artistic….EW! I don’t know. It’s hard to describe yourself!
If you could go on a road trip with any person, dead or alive, who would it be and where would you go?
It’s awfully hard to choose just one, but I’d pick a trip to Barstow with Hunter S. Thompson (This is my friend J's suggestion and I know Hunter would vaporize my cranium with a .357, if he knew I had plagiarized this so shamelessly. Mine was too pervy.) .
