Tonight, Golden Globe, Hollywood's first major award show of the year, presented actor Christian Bale the Best Supporting Actor award for his portrayal of a drug-addicted boxer in the drama "The Fighter." Among other early winners was Katey Sagal ("Sons of Anarchy"), taking home the Best Actress Award for television drama series. Later this evening, "The King's Speech" and "critic's darling" "The Social Network" will be competing for the top award, Best Film Drama. "The King's Speech" which tells the story of British King George VI's stammering problem garnered 7 nominations while Facebook film "The Social Network" has 6 nominations.
