After last year's historic European tour, the "Big Four" of trash metal-Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth- are to perform in a festival this coming April. Coachella founder and promoter Paul Tollett is behind this upcoming event, LA Times reported. Tollet was reported to have an empty weekend between Coachella and its country cousin, the Stagecoach Festival that after a casual conversation with Metallica's manager, the show was born.
The show will take place at the Empire Polo field in Indio on April 23rd, right after the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Tickets for this one-night event will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. on TicketMaster.
