YOU'VE BEEN WARNED....
As a huge fan of the first Paranormal Activity, I was thrilled when I heard they were doing a second one. I was a little worried because the director from the first one wasn't directing, just simply writing. He did so well on such a small budget that I was seriously concerned they were going to add CGI, lots of flashing lights, loud noises, and all the other crap they add in scary movies these days. I can honestly say, though, that I was NOT disappointed.
Right at the beginning I was a little confused because Katie was back in the picture. Alive... And so was Micah. Then it occurred to me that they skipped back to before Katie was having issues. The story is based around Katie's sister who apparently had the problems first. The movie is seriously scary, very unpredictable, and just downright funny at points. They used some of the same aspects from the first, but threw things at you that you never would have expected. Like how the demon started with Katie's sister and got to her. I won't give too much away, but all I have to say is I would kill my family. Well... she kind of does. In the end it snaps back to Katie on October 9th, the day after she killed her boyfriend, and then they disappear again. So it left it wide open for #3. I can't wait until it starts. It's going to be sooo good! Recommended! Go See! It made 20.1 million at the box office on Friday night. So it has to be good... right? See for yourself. But take a friend... its scary!
