This episode kicked off with us seeing a glimpse of what the Hellcats lost their bid to nationals for. A cheerleader who got hurt while cheerleading, who now is on a team in a wheelchair. Sympathy vote? Obviously! So now they have to raise money and the way to do that is a "Date Auction" The girls come in all ready for action and even the guys join in.
The girls all make lots of money except for Alice, who has to force her boyfriend to bid against himself up to $300 for her. A guy bids on Lewis and Marti gets bid on buy her law partner. And most shocking of all is when Savannah gets won over by her ex boyfriend, sent by her mother. She goes on the date deciding that she is going to scare him away with her "sinner" side by wearing short skirts, lots of makeup, swearing, and talking about sex. He sees right through her though. They hit it off and end up watching an old black and white movie and having a mini picnic. He decides at the end that he wants Savannah back, and she realizes that knowing how everything is going to play out is not how she likes life. She goes back to Dan and decides that he is exactly what she wants.
In the meantime, Marti and Lewis are having a secret affair. Lewis wants to tell the squad, but Marti doesn't because she doesn't like people knowing her business. Savannah calls her out saying she is just scared because she doesn't want to open up and let him in when there is a risk of getting hurt. Savannah and Marti make an agreement to both risk it. In the end, Marti goes up to Lewis in the main room, lays one on him... even right in from of Alice. Alice tells her that Lewis isn't one for relationships. Marti agrees that she isn't either, hence why they make such a great couple, and then plops down on Lewis.
What drama will next week hold?? We shall see!
