New film from "Paul"'s Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, with Edgar Wright

Universal Pictures announced today that an up-coming film titled "The World's End" from the creators of the "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" is soon to be in production.

With Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright writing the script and actor Nick Frost collaborating with the team, the film "will follow five old friends who attempt to re-create a heroic pub crawl they attempted 20 years previous, which ends at a pub called The World’s End. But as the title implies, the fate of humankind also hangs in the balance."

Together with the announcement, Universal Pictures also released a teaser poster for the film:
