The second official trailer for Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man" was recently released and it contains a hidden treasure for "Spider-Man" fans.
A hint of a marketing tie-in website that may lead to a possible alternative-reality game is hidden in the trailer. The link appears very quickly (a moment before Peter Parker sees a red-painted spider on a wall) that a blink of an eye could make one miss it.
The site markofthespider-man.com may be just another portal for viral teasers instead of an ARG but fans now have another place to watch for updates of the film.
"The Amazing Spider-Man" stars Andrew Garfield (whose American accent by the way is very impressive,) Emma Stone, and Rhys Ifans. It is scheduled to be released on July 3rd, 2012.
