Les Misérables, the long-running Mackintosh musical based on Victor Hugo's novel of the same name, is facing another possible film adaptation.Les Misérables has been adapted into films numerous times including Bille August' 1998 version which starred Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush, Uma Thurman and Claire Danes.
Deadline.com reported that this time, Academy Award winner Tom Hooper (The King's Speech) is in talks to take on this new project. According to reports, Universal Pictures' studio bosses are hoping to begin filming in Europe later this year.
