This Freddie Mercury Google Doodle by Google is just simply amazing!
The 98 second long doodle was created by Google in celebration of British rock band Queen's late frontman Freddie Mercury's birthday.
Today, Monday, September 5th would have been Mercury's 65th birthday.
The Freddie Mercury Google Doodle created by Jennifer Hom and other illustrators took about three months to be completed and is the second longest doodle to date (first is Google's over two minute Chaplin Doodle.)
The Doodle shows an animation of Mercury "navigating through a crazy world inspired by his own lyrics."
"Considering how colorful Freddie's career was, we wanted to create a doodle that was just as colorful," said Hom.
Among the classics Mercury and the rest of Queen wrote were Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are The Champions.
Mercury died in 1991. In 2008, Mercury ranked No. 18 in Rolling Stone magazine's Top 100 Singers of All Time.
