"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" Casting Update

And the casting announcements from Lionsgate for the film "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" keep coming.

Last Friday, Liongsgate announced that the role of Chaff have been filled by E. Roger Mitchell, an Atlanta-based actor who starred in film like "Battle: Los Angeles," "Diary of a Mad Black Woman," and "Daddy's Little Girls." He was also seen in TV shows like "The Shield," "One Tree Hill," and "House of Payne."

Chaff is "one of the tributes from District 11, and returns to compete in the Quarter Quell alongside Katniss and Peeta after previously winning the 45th annual games. District 11 was home to Rue, who became a strong ally to Katniss in The Hunger Games before she died."

Other cast announced were Alan Ritchson (Gloss,) Bruno Gunn (Brutus,) and Meta Golding (Enobaria.)

Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen,) Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne,) and Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark) are all of course reprising their roles. The part of Finnick Odair on the other hand it seemed still need to be filled.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is set to be released on the 22nd of November, 2013.
