We've all seen and heard of the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy this week and Mother Nature certainly doesn't discriminate. Donnie Wahlberg reminded us of that when he posted several videos of him and a friend wading through his flooded apartment.
The plan had been to initially wait out the hurricane, surviving on Red Bull and bacon, but plans change and Wahlberg later found himself surrounded by water. The Blue Bloods actor and New Kids on the Block member remained in good spirits throughout the ordeal, encouraging his many Twitter followers to stay safe and not worry about the material things.
After suggesting everyone check in with their loved ones, Wahlberg left everyone with an inspiring tweet.
"In the worst of times... Somehow... Some way... Make the best of times! Life's too short to be down! Shake it off and pick yourself back up!"
