Dallas Cowboys Player Jailed After Teammate Dies in Crash

Josh Brent, a defensive tackle in his third season with the Dallas Cowboys, was arrested and is being held in jail without bail following a car crash that killed his teammate, Jerry Brown.

The crash happened at about 2:30am on Saturday morning after Brent hit the curb at high speed, causing the vehicle to flip. 25-year-old Brown was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Brent has been booked on a felony charge of intoxication manslaughter after he failed to pass a sobriety test. He was also previously arrested in 2009 for drink driving.

Our condolences and thoughts go out to the family of Jerry Brown at this sad time.
