Dennis Quaid has filed for divorce from his wife, Kimberly and is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their twins, Thomas and Zoe Grace. This comes about a month and a half after Kimberly filed for a legal separation after having been married to the actor since 2004.
This isn't the first time Kimberly has filed for a legal separation, having also filed in March this year. However, the couple made an attempt to reconcile, but that doesn't appear to have worked.
While Dennis is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their children, his soon-to-be ex-wife is requesting joint legal and primary physical custody of the twins. Dennis has also asked that they both be responsible for their own legal fees.
In a world where divorces can get nasty, we hope this one is sorted out quickly and amicably for the sake of everyone involved.
