Healthy Living Campaign

Artists On Demand is kicking of a campaign to encourage healthy living. No, this won't be the preachy kind of campaign that tells you how bad all your habits are. We assure you, we have bad habits as well!

What do we want to do?
We want to encourage all of our listener and fans to make little changes in your life that will create a healthier lifestyle for you. You can choose what you change or don't change, but we encourage you to change some of those habits.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:
1. Take a walk: start out slow and before you know it you'll be doing some wicked cardio and burning off pounds while strengthening your insides.

2. Cut something out of your diet: This could be soda, sweets, cut down on the carb intake, increase the vegetable intake, etc. Pick something in your diet and change it. Don't try to change everything at once. That won't work. One thing at a time.

3. Water: You've heard this before. Drink lots of water. It's also a great supplement to other sugary or caffeinated drinks.

4. Play with your kids: Instead of flipping on the TV for them to watch, take them outside and run around. Ride bikes. Take a stroll. If you are active, your children will be too.

Those are just a few ideas to get you started. No pressure, just encouragement. When you tweet about doing something healthy, add #healthyliving to the end of your tweet.

We'll be working on getting some guests on the show to help give us ideas on how to live a healthier life and to encourage us all along the way.
