First Theatrical Poster and trailer for 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'

Yesterday, Paramount Pictures released the full length trailer for the newest Transformers movie. Today, the first theatrical poster for the film has been unveiled.

It features the great hero Optimus Prime with his human companion, Sam Witwicky, played by Shia LaBeouf. Also in the poster is Rosie Hungtington-Whiteley who plays Carly, Sam's new love interest. Her character is from the original 1984 animated series.

Transformers: Dark of The Moon is the sequel to Transformers and Transformers: The Revenge of The Fallen, all were by American director Michael Bay.

Written by Ehren Kruger, Transformers: Dark of The Moon is set to be released in 3D on July 1st, 2011.
