British comedian Russell Brand stated that he is eying on moving behind the camera. Brand has two films he's developing. He said that, "they're both comedy vehicles and I really want to direct them because I think it's a good way, as a comedian, to showcase what you do".
One of the films Brand is developing is "about an English footballer stranded in Texas having to teach at a Texan high school where no-one cares about soccer," and the other is about a conman who poses as a priest and set to be produced by American actor/director/producer Adam Sandler.
Brand is also to appear in Arthur, a "re-imagining of the 1981 Dudley Moor classic."
Brand recently starred in Get Him to the Greek, Despicable Me and Hop.
