Robert Sheehan Leaving "MISFITS"
Petra Fried, excutive producer of British show Misfits announced today at the Kapow convention in London that Robert Sheehan will not be returning in the third series of the show.
Sheehan, star of Killing Bono and Season of The Witch is well known for his character Nathan Young, the loud and foul mouth, Irish lad who also happened to have an ASBO.
Sheehan's character will be replaced by a new character named Rudy, however, casting for this character is still on-going. It was reported that E4, the channel which airs Misfits, will post on their website a short film that will deal on Nathan's departure from the series. The short film will be posted prior to the first episode of the third series.
Misfits is a BAFTA Award winning British comedy-drama that centers on a group of young offenders who while doing their community service attained superpowers after a strange electrical storm.
Misfits' third series is scheduled to air later this year on E4.
