American actor Ryan Phillippe who starred in films like 54, Cruel Intentions and 2005 Academy Award winning film Crash, recently said that he is ready to quit acting.
The 36 year old actor told New York Post, "It is so hard to go out in LA. I'm going to move."
"I'm going to spend a third of my year in New York. I think I'm going to end my acting career."
Phillippe who has been acting for 20 years, stated that he is an introvert and that he is ready to go behind the scenes.
Phillippe's latest project is Steven Silver's The Bang bang Club in which Phillippe plays Greg Marinovich, a photographer who captured pictures prior to the Apartheid in South Africa.
The film is being shown at the Tribeca Film Festival starting April 21st, 2011.
