Tarsem Singh To Lead The New Adaptation of "Snow White"

Indian director Tarsem Singh has been reported to take on The Brother Grimm's Snow White. Singh best known for his visually mesmerizing film The Fall will be working with The Social Network's Armie Hammer as the prince and Pretty Woman's Julia Roberts as the evil queen. Recently, Relativity Media announced that actress Lily Collins (The Blind Side) was cast as Snow White.

People who are familiar with Singh's work would feel anticipation for Singh's newest creation.

Singh's The Fall was called by The New York Times as "a genuine labor of love" despite adding that it was a "real bore." American film critic and screenwriter Robert Eger wrote, "You might want to see for no other reason than because it exists. There will never be another like it," in his review of the film and gave it a 4/4 rating.

Singh had a vision when he created The Fall and he made sure that it was translated exactly how he wanted it and the result was a masterpiece.

With Signh's talent, a lot could be expected from this new fairytale adaptation.

The still untitled Snow White film will start production in May.
