The larger than life actor, who stood at a whopping 6ft5in passed away from complications, following a heart attack in July.
He was best known for his role in Steven King's 'The Green Mile' where he played John Coffey, the simple minded miracle worker. Fans also may remember him from Armageddon, Green Lantern and the Planet of the Apes reboot as well.
