It's looks like Dre's beats can't be denied, but we knew that. He hasn't released an album in over ten years, but Dr. Dre is 2012 highest earning hip-hop star and a wise businessman. He beat out Jay-z who took the cash in 2011.
The majority of Dre's $110 million (£69m) income is from his Beats by Dr Dre headphones line.
Diddy lands at number two with earnings of $45m (£28m), thanks mostly to his stake in Diageo's Ciroc vodka.
Jay-Z, who topped the 2011 list, pulled in over half of his $38m (£24m) from business ventures, including ownership stakes in cosmetics company Carol's Daughter, the Brooklyn Nets and a joint project with battery maker Duracell.
"The reality of it is, you want to do something that you own," said Timbaland, who ranks at number 20 on the list with $6m (£4m). "You want to own what you put your heart into. That's how you make money."
Snoop Dogg (Lion?) is at 14 with earnings of $8.5m (£5.3m), followed by 50 Cent at 15 with $7.5m (£4.7m).
Nicki Minage was the only woman to make the top ten, at number eight. Eminem was ninth and Ludacris is number 10.
