Partners Premiere! Yay or Nay?
The time has finally arrived for the world to see the premiere episode of Partners! I, for one, have been anticipating this night for months! (Ever since the series finale of One Tree Hill, a show VERY near and dear to the Artists on Demand crew's hearts.) The moment I learned that the beautiful, Sophia Bush, and the comical, Michael Urie, were going to be on one show together I was sold. I just knew mixing those two together with David Krumholtz and Brandon Routh was a brilliant casting decision, and sure to be one made for television gold!
And I was right!
Partners is fantastic! This 30 minute sitcom created by the team who brought us Will & Grace, definitely delivers the laughs. It's very reminiscent of old favorites like Friends, and the aformentioned, Will & Grace. It's been compared to both of those for months now, and being that those are two very successful and hilarious comedies, how could it not be just as great?
The sitcom shows you inside the lives of two best friends, whom are also business partners, Louis (Urie) and Joe (Krumholtz), and their special someones, Wyatt (Routh) and Ali (Bush). Giving us unsight into and unbreakable friendship, and the shenanigans that happens when you mix seperate relationships into that friendship. The show is an excellent blend of funny, but not slapstick humor, and good clean fun. It is definitely a family friendly show from what it seems after the first episode.
PRO: From the amazing cast, the humor, and the creative team behind it, this show is sure to be a hit!
CON: It is in a tricky timeslot, being that it's up against big shows like Bones, Dancing With The Stars, The L.A. Complex, and The Voice. Hopefully those that don't tune in will watch it On Demand, or DVR it so it still gets great ratings!
YOU MIGHT KNOW:
Sophia Bush from her days portraying Brooke Davis on the CW's One Tree Hill.
Brandon Routh as Superman in the movie Superman Returns.
Michael Urie as Marc St. James from the ABC hit show, Ugly Betty!
David Krumholtz from his run on the CBS show, Numb3rs, as Charlie Eppes.
Have you watched it yet? Let us know what you think! Yay or Nay?
