Amy Winehouse cancels two European tour dates

English singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse is reported to have canceled shows in her European tour.

The singer came to the decision after a concert in Belgrade, Serbia where she appeared to be "too drunk to perform" on stage. The artist was said to have been booed by fans who came to see her show.

Winehouse's spokesman stated that the artist would like to apologize to her fans for canceling her tour dates but that the singer "feels that is the right thing to do." Winehouse will return home after she agrees with her management that "she cannot perform to the best of her ability," her spokesman added.

Winehouse is canceling her Monday show in Istanbul, Turkey and her Wednesday performance in Athens, Greece.

Winehouse's tour which originally scheduled to include 12 perfomances will resume on July 8 in Bilbao, Spain.
