The late King of Pop's famed Thriller jacket has been sold for $1.8 million dollars at an auction on Sunday. The jacket was purchased by a commodities trader from Austin, Milton Verret according to CEO of Julien's Auction, Darren Julien.
The jacket was worn by Michael Jackson in the 1983 music video where the artist danced with a troupe of zombies.
The red jacket will be used as a fundraiser tool for children charities by sending it on tour. It has also been said that a portion of the sale will go to the big cat sanctuary, Shambala Preserve, that is caring for two tigers the late artist owned.
