Lebanon lifts ban on Gaga's "Born This Way" record

American pop star, Lady Gaga's recent album Born This Way was reported to have been allowed distribution in the country of Lebanon after fans of the singer protested against its ban.

The album which topped the charts worldwide was banned in the Middle Eastern country after its release in May. Lebanon officials seized the shipment of the CDS and ruled that the track Judas was "offensive to Christians."

The songs from the tracks were also banned from being played on the radio.

According the the British paper, The Sun, Lady Gaga's Lebanese fans protested the ban and saw it as pointless as they could stream the record online.

A statement that read: 'The CD has received approval for entry and distribution in Lebanon.'

This was also confirmed by Lady Gaga's spokesperson.
