Swift's "Mine" wins CMT video of the year

Country singer Taylor Swift was awarded the top award at the County Music Television (CMT) awards as her music video Mine wins video of the year.

Swift accepted her awards via satellite on stage in Wisconsin where she is on tour at the moment.

"I wish I could be there, but I'm hanging out with 15,000 of my closest friends in Milwaukee," she young star said.

The show led by star Kid Rock was opened by Swift in a pre-recorded video of a parody of te film Thelma and Louise with fellow country singer, Shania Twain.
