"Noah", new film from Darren Aronofsky

Noah, a film "re-telling the story of the Noah's ark story" will be co-financed by New Regency with Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky working on the project.

Variety reported that Aronofsky penned the first draft of the Noah script and American screenwriter and playwright John Logan is said to be currently re-writing the script.

Arnon Milchan founder of New Regency Productions attached the production company to the project after being approached with the script, sources said on Wednesday Variety reported.
