American actor Wes Bentley best known for his role as Rick Fitts in the Academy award winning film American Beauty, has landed a very good role in Lionsgate's The Hunger Games.Bentley who got caught up in drug addiction right after his success in American Beauty, is rebuilding his career and will be playing Seneca Crane; a character based on Suzanne Collins' very popular teen series The Hunger Games.
Bentley will join actors Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks and others in the upcoming film which will start production soon. The film will be directed by Gary Ross (Pleasantville and Seabiscuit.)
