It was reported that Blue Valentine star Michelle Williams was offered the role of Glinda in the upcoming Wizard of Oz prequel which will be directed by Sam Raimi (Spiderman.)Williams who said to be playing the good witch in Oz: The Great and Powerful, will be joining James Franco as Oz and Mila Kunis as the witch that fell in love with the Oz, Theodora.
Rachel Weisz is also in talks to join the Disney project as Theadora's evil witch sibling Evanora.
Williams will be seen in Take This Waltz which she had completed filming recently. She's also inen in Meek's Cutoff and My Week With Marilyn as Marilyn Monroe.
