Charles Dickens' Great Expectations will be again adapted into film BBC Films announced at Cannes Film Festival.The classic novel told in the orphan, Pip's, point of view is much like Dickens' other masterpieces which he drew from his own experiences of life and people.
English actress and Fight Club and Alice in Wonderland star Helena Bonham Carter will play Miss Havisham. She will be joined in by Ralph Fiennes who will play the convicted criminal Magwitch.
The film will start production in September with Mike Newell as the director and Stephen Woolley as the producer.
