Legendary Hollywood actress Sophia Loren was honored by fellow celebrities including Tom Hanks, John Travolta, Billy Crystal and director Rob Marshall.An evening was put on by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to honor the Italian actress on Wednesday in Beverly Hills. Loren was also the first actress in Hollywood to win an Oscar for a foreign-language film.
Loren told the audience, "There are no words to describe my emotions right now. It is hard to imagine that 50 years have passed since I welcomed my Oscar to my home."
The evening dedicated to Loren was attended by stars who gathered to watch tributes and clips of the actress' most famous film roles.
