It's been confirmed by its organizers, Glee's Darren Criss will be replacing British actor Daniel Radcliffe in the Broadway revival "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."
Radcliffe will leave the show in January 1st and Criss then will step-in to portray J. Pierrepont Finch for three weeks (from Jan 3rd to the 22nd.) It is not clear if the show will continue beyond the said date.
This is not the first time Criss will be taking a role Radcliffe had portrayed. Criss gained popularity when he co-wrote the musical parodies "A Very Potter Musical" and "A Very Potter Sequel" which he also appeared in as Harry Potter. The parodies became popular on YouTube.
"How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" opened in March and had mixed reviews but was a box office hit due to Radcliffe's portrayal of the main character. "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" is scored by Frank Loesser and is playing at Al Hirschfeld Theater.
Tony award winner John Laroquette plays J.B Biggley and Tammy Blanchard as Hedy La Rue.
