"Bridget Jones" is back!

Entertainment Weekly reported that the granny-knicker wearing Bridget Jones will be back as the third film in the series has been signed and sealed.



The first film in the series adapted from English author, Helen Fielding's book of the same title- Bridget Jones' Diary was released in 2001 and was directed by Sharon Maguire. Hugh Grant (Daniel Cleaver) and Colin Firth (Mark Darcy) starred alongside Renée Zellwegger (Briget Jones.) The second film in the series - Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason-was released in 2004 with Zellwegger, Firth, and Grant reprising their roles and was directed by Beeban Kidron.



The third film in the series will be under Working Title Films, the same production company responsible for the first two Bridget Jones films. There are no other details available as of now and no confirmation whether Zellweger and/or his co-stars, Firth and Grant will be reprising their roles.
