"Bewitched" to be remade

Must be the year for re-vamps!



It has been reported that a re-make script has been ordered by CBS for the classic series Bewitched.



The script will be written by Marc Lawrence, screenplay writer for Miss Congeniality and Did You Hear About the Morgans. The remake will be produced by Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher, the producers behind the film adaptation of the series Bewitched. The 2005 adaptation starred Will Ferrell and Nicole Kidman.



Bewitched aired on ABO from 1964 to 1972. It starred Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York as husband and wife Samantha and Darrin Stephens. York was later on replaced by Dick Sargent.
