In the movies, Spider-Man is getting a reboot. In the Ultimate Universe of Marvel Comics, well, he's a total different person.
Peter Parker, the orphan lad from Queens, died in Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #160 in the hands of the Green Goblin. And on Wednesday, the new Spider-Man was introduced in the new book- Ultimate Comics Fallout #4.
Miles Morales, a half-African-American, half-Latino teenager- is the new friendly neighbor, Spider-Man. Morales, according to the book, is nerdy, very good in Math, and lives with his parents in Brooklyn.
"He swings into action, kicks butt, and when
he pulls back his mask, there is another face there."
-Axel Alonso
Editor in chief of Marvel Comics, Axel Alonso believes that Morales will be "loveable and recognizable to long-time fans of Spider-Man, as well as relatable to a whole new demographic of readers."
