Ryan Kwanten's 'Griff the Invisible' Movie Review

Ryan Kwanten has swooned girls for the past few years by playing the loveable Jason Stackhouse on True Blood. His role on ‘superhero-esque’ movie Griff the Invisible shows him in quite a different light. Griff, who is your average Joe in the office by day, suits up in his rubber super suit at night and goes looking for crime to bring to a screeching halt.

Griff’s family think he’s crazy, including brother Tim, who wishes that Griff would just give up his childlike fantasies and live a normal adult life. Tim’s completely opposite, slightly neurotic, new girlfriend seems to have an inner bond with Griff. The movie tells the story of family differences, security, and love, with comedy thrown into the mix.

Although we wouldn’t put it up next for an Oscar, Griff the Invisible allows the viewer to escape from their own reality and take a run on the wild side, while enjoying some laughs along the way. We would gladly add Griff the Invisible to our list of good indie films to pick up for a movie night with friends. The guys will like the comedy and action, while the girls will eat up the romance and drama. An all around good movie for the entire family.
