"Lisa Goes Gaga."
That is the title of one of the new episodes of The Simpsons and yes, you are right! Lady Gaga will be appearing in the long-time running TV series.
Matt Groening, Simpson's creator said: "Since the very beginning, I've always wanted to have on the most iconic personalities of our time, and she's it."
Lady Gaga will be playing as herself who visited Springfield after finding out that a lot of its residents have very low self-esteem so she tries to cheer them up, including Lisa, through a song.
Lady Gaga who recently recorded her voice-over for the episode stated that she found the recording, "a little nerve-wracking."
"I make music, but I don't do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humor. "That's what I was trying to focus on, not putting on a character too much and really being as sincere as I could with the lines," the artist added.
The highlight of the episode will not only be Lady Gaga's appearance but the kiss she shares with Marge, Homer's wife.
Lady Gaga who is said she's very excited for the role also stated, "I would say this is one of the coolest things I've ever done. My dad's probably going to do 80 backflips when the episode comes out."
"Lisa Goes Gaga" airs next spring.
