"Project Runway" judge, Michael Kors to marry in NY

With same-sex marriage being legalized in the state of New York, American designer Michalel Kors plans to marry his partner of 11 years, Lance LePere.

Kors, one of Project Runway's judges, a Long Island native said, "Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together."

According to media reports, the couple were seen at New York City Hall as they acquire their marriage license on Thursday.

Kors stated that they do not plan to have a major party but that they are going to be married privately.
