A film titled Dorothy of Oz based on Roger Stanton Baum's novel of the same title will be produced by Summertime Entertainment and Bonne Radford, also by Ryan Carroll and Roland Carroll. Roger Stanton Baum is the great grandson of L. Frank Baum, the man behind the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Picking up where his great-grandfather left off, Baum tells the story of Dorothy who returned to the badly damaged Kansas. Dorothy does not stay long as she is magically transported once again to Oz only to find out her friends have all disappeared and she must find all of them.
