Sean Bean casts in Tarsem Singh's "Snow White" adaptation

British actor and Lord of the Rings star Sean Bean is reported to have landed a new project! This time Bean will be joining the Indian director Tarsem Singh (The Fall) in the visionary's latest project- Snow White.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bean has been cast as Snow White's father. The film which is yet to be titled is a fairytale re-imagining and is currently shooting in Montreal. It stars Julia Roberts as the Evin Queen, Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as Prince Andrew Alcott and Lily Collins (The Blind Side) as Snow White.

Bean was part of HBO's fantasy/adventure series Game of Thrones (adaptation of George R.R. Martin's best-selling A Song of Ice and Fire) until his character's death (Ned Stark) in the first season.

Tarsem Singh's own version of Snow White is set for theatrical release on the 16th of March, 2013.
